AWARDS

GSA design competition - 1st place.        1994

DESCRIPTION

The design provided the building with a sense of place within the context of the City and adjacent City Hall. Stacking courthouses vertically at this time in a high-rise building was also forward thinking during the competition design phase.

Graduating from his first undergraduate degree in Architecture in 1993, this is the first large scale design competition team that Dan had the privilege of being a member of. One of the design concepts that made this project a success was the vertical stacking of the spaces in a way that promotes structural efficiency as well as express the verticality of this high-rise building.
