MSAV soccer academy: Founded in 2013, Lespwa Lavi means “Hope for Life” in Haitian Creole.  What began as a youth soccer academy in the rural Artibonite region of Haiti has grown into a mission to empower the community of Verrettes and create a sustainable, impactful ministry.

DESCRIPTION

We were privileged to partner with Lespwa Lavi (MSAV) to help design the new campus which includes a church, clinic and soccer academy. A generous donor provided MSAV, 13 acres of land for this new campus. "Hope for life" is so apropos as the large basement of the church later became a large food pantry for the community during times of civil unrest and food insecurity. Additionally, as one of the founders or Lespwa Lavi (who is a local in Haiti himself) describes it, "soccer is one of the best ways for young Haitians to find a future through soccer scholarships in other countries".
